Our Story
Jack Sterling grew up in Illinois, where he inherited a small box of old coins and paper currency from his grandfather. That single spark ignited a fascination for the artistry, history, and stories hidden in every piece of money. Over the years, his collection grew, but so did his realization that identifying rare bills could be a challenging task for beginners and seasoned collectors alike.
In 2020, Jack launched Unique Dollar Checker as a simple tool for identifying and evaluating rare and interesting bills. What started as a small personal project has grown into a resource visited by thousands of currency enthusiasts each month.
